Sharon Nichols has worked in the market research industry for 12 years.
Sharon graduated from Hull University with a degree in Social Policy and Administration. She started her market research career at Wolverhampton Business School where she was involved in conducting research projects for local government and educational establishments. Following this, Sharon moved to Harris Interactive UK Whilst at Harris Interactive, Sharon was involved in setting up and managing a team of researchers who focussed on international and domestic research, worth approximately £1.5 million a year. She has worked for clients in a variety of sectors, including:
- Travel and transport
- Construction and building products
Over the past 12 years, Sharon has worked on both consumer and business-to-business research projects, and has extensive experience of conducting branding, customer satisfaction, new product development and marketing communications research. These projects have used both qualitative and quantitative techniques and Sharon has used these techniques seamlessly for many of the clients that she has worked with.
Sharon also has considerable experience in conducting international research, and has conducted research across every continent and in approximately 60 countries worldwide. This means that she has a strong understanding of both the domestic and international research markets, and the cultural differences, which exist when conducting international research.
